Brightec’s newest air curtain, the BlueSeal compact, is specifically designed for refrigerated vans, smaller box trucks, vehicles with roller doors and side doors. BlueSeal Compact is smaller and lighter than its bigger brother the BlueSeal Original. With a height of only 87mm the height loss is almost negligible. BlueSeal Compact was originally designed as a solution for temperature controlled vans but has evolved to cater for larger vehicles looking to benefit from an increased loading height.

BlueSeal Compact Series S
These air curtains designed for panel vans and small box trucks. BlueSeal Compact Series S is built to specification, typically up to 1,310mm in length (longer units can also be custom made on request). Air flow speed and direction is optimised for smaller vehicles creating the most effective form of climate control for vehicles with a smaller cargo space.
BlueSeal Compact Series L
These air curtains designed for bigger vehicles including rigids and semi-trailers. BlueSeal Compact Series L is available in lengths up to 2,430mm. In this model, air flow is optimised for larger vehicles that can benefit from a less reduced loading height offered by the Compact model. And it is just as effective at keeping goods cool as BlueSeal Original.
How BlueSeal works
BlueSeal can be installed with ease on any new or existing vehicle, using a click-system fixed to a mounting plate on the ceiling of the vehicle. These can be fitted above rear loading doors as well as side doors and can be built to your specification.
During loading/unloading BlueSeal is activated automatically. Air is sucked in by BlueSeal and converted into a vertical air curtain that separates the cold inside the trailer from the ambient (hotter) temperature outside the vehicle. Insects, dust and humid air are also prevented from entering the vehicle.
Cold air is kept in the interior of the vehicle during door openings, maintaining the integrity of temperature-controlled goods. The temperature in the cargo space rises significantly slower with an air curtain during door openings than PVC strips.
