BlueControl alerts drivers to the time that vehicle doors are open during deliveries. Now available as an integrated or modular option for BlueSeal air curtains.
Featuring an LED display displaying the duration of door openings, BlueControl encourages drivers to minimise the time that cargo is vulnerable to outside air temperatures. By minimising the time that doors are open, BlueSeal air curtains are able to control temperature loss more effectively leading to greater product preservation and a reduction of cooling fuel consumption.
BlueControl also makes installation easier for bodybuilders by allowing the air curtain to connect directly to the vehicle’s battery, significantly reducing the installation time for vehicle manufacturers and convertors. Vehicle battery life is monitored with an integrated battery guard function that will switch the air curtain off when the voltage has dropped below a certain point set by the user preventing battery drainage.
The units also feature an integrated light sensor and options for an external magnetic switch and infra-red sensor that help the unit to detect door openings in every possible situation.

BlueSeal Original can be supplied with an integrated BlueControl Unit for faster install and informs drivers of the time that doors have been open. Features easy-to-use functions and an in-built light sensor to detect door openings.
BlueControl Modular
BlueControl is also available as a separate modular unit for both Original and Compact Models. BlueControl Modular is BlueSmart ready, with automatic adjustable airflow available in the near future as a peripheral add-on that can be easily installed into the unit.
How BlueSeal works
BlueSeal can be installed with ease on any new or existing vehicle, using a click-system fixed to a mounting plate on the ceiling of the vehicle. These can be fitted above rear loading doors as well as side doors and can be built to your specification.
During loading/unloading BlueSeal is activated automatically. Air is sucked in by BlueSeal and converted into a vertical air curtain that separates the cold inside the trailer from the ambient (hotter) temperature outside the vehicle. Insects, dust and humid air are also prevented from entering the vehicle.
Cold air is kept in the interior of the vehicle during door openings, maintaining the integrity of temperature-controlled goods. The temperature in the cargo space rises significantly slower with an air curtain during door openings than PVC strips.
