Yes, the BlueSeal air curtain can definitely be installed above side doors as the 3D picture below shows. In this case the air curtain draws in inside air. The mounting plate (blue) is designed in such a way that the air curtain can be fixated to the ceiling and the wall. The connection cable can be positioned on the front side (as in the picture) or on the side of the air curtain.

It rarely occurs that a fan malfunctions. But in the unfortunate event it does happen, we’ll send you a replacement fan a.s.a.p. The air curtain can be opened easily and a new fan installed in a few minutes.

In general, yes, it is easy to install the air curtain. However, it may be convenient to let your vehicle builder install the air curtain. They’ll know how to properly install the device.

1. Determine the required voltage: The air curtain must be connected to a 12V or 24V power source, depending on the model you are using.
2. Connection Setup: The air curtain should be set up to automatically turn on when at least one door is opened. You can achieve this by:
   • Connecting the air curtain to the vehicle’s battery. Use a time relay and a magnetic door switch between the battery and air curtain. This setup ensures the air curtain turns ON whenever a door is opened.
   • Alternatively, connect the air curtain to the battery pack and control box of the vehicle’s tail lift. This will allow the air curtain to switch ON automatically when the tail lift is activated.

Note: If you’re using a BlueSeal air curtain with a BlueControl module (either integrated or modular), it is ‘plug & play.’ This means you can directly connect it to the power source without needing any additional components.
